That was 15 years ago. Now, after taking several years out to get married and have children, I have found myself absolutely loving it.

I achieved my black belt (shodan) almost 2 years ago and since then have developed under the watchful eye of Sensei Conroy. Instructing has become a big part of my karate life too - helping Tony to set up and run both the adult and children's karate clubs in Rothley.

I am extremely grateful to Sensei Conroy for his support and guidance not only in my training but also in the instructing where I am constantly in awe of his perseverance and patience!
